  • Introducing the «Genius-Drill»: Self-propelled Reverse circulation & Coring multipurpose drill rig model GRC4

Posted on November 27th, 2009 admin No comments

Drilling Supply pleased to introduce our new high performance multipurpose (RC/Core) exploration drill rig model GENIUS-DRILL (GRC4) on a Caterpillar track mobile.

The main advantages of GRC4 are its simplicity (fully hydraulic operations); extreme maneuverability; pullback capacity of 48000 lbs (21 770 kg); hydraulic power of 156 HP; multipurpose hollow spindle rotary drive with variable/reversible hydraulic motor and automatic constant rotation power control. These features enable GRC4 to easily access almost any type of difficult terrain, and give it enough power to drill in any type of mixed hard formations.

  • Multipurpose geothermal drill rig model GEO-MAX 840

Posted on October 7th, 2009 admin No comments

We are pleased to introduce our high performance multipurpose geothermal drill rig model GEO-MAX 840 on a Caterpillar track mobile. The main advantages of GM840 are its extreme maneuverability, pullback capacity of 42000 lbs (19050 kg), hydraulic power of 220 HP, Double head designed specifically for Geothermal overburden drilling and a unique rod handling system. These features enable GM840 to easily access almost any type of difficult terrain, and give it enough power to drill in every type of mixed ground conditions (overburden / hard rock).

    Some important features include:

    1) Rotary Drive: Double head EURODRILL model DH1900; Integrated dual-head designed specifically for Geothermal overburden drilling, where both, Casing and Drilling Rod operate at the same time. Counter-clockwise operation of the Casing and Drilling Rod Gears significantly increases drilling efficiency and precision, preventing an inadvertent release of rod and casing during the pipe feeding and discharging.

    2) Robot arm, equipped with double clamps to simultaneously deliver the casing and inner rod assembly to the rod feeder and back (feeding and discharging). This reduces the operating time and greatly increases efficiency, since this operation can be done while drilling.

    3) GM840 features our uniquely designed hydraulic pipe rack, capable of vertically storing 10ft long pipes. The rack is attached to a hydraulic actuator, allowing it to be raised for drilling and lowered for transportation. First Pipe Rack stores casing and inner rod assemblies (up to 150 ft). Second Pipe Rack stores additional inner rods (up to 400 ft).

GM840 is designed with the end user in mind. You will be able to benefit from its unique features optimized for high performance, efficiency and reliability in any operational environment.

Posted on July 18th, 2009 admin No comments

Dear customers, here are some new improvement we made to our Geothermal drilling rig GD840

    1)     The GD840 now features a new motor with a pull back force of 40 000lbs at start and 48 000lbs after 2-3 second of traveling.

    2)     Robot Arm features double lifting capacity, handling  pipes and casings with a minimum reach of 15’.

    3)     Foam supply for water mist is now automatic and operated by the remote control.

    4)     A mud pump can now be optionally added and can be used when drilling without a  compressor which provides fuel savings of over 100$/hrs, plus the facility to inject the bentonite  without any other resources.
