Drilling Supply is proud to introduce our high-performance, self-propelled geothermal / water well drilling rigs featuring a Double Rotary Drive, the Geo-Max 840 DDand the Geo-Genius GG6 48 DD. The main advantages of the Geo-Max and Geo-Genius series are its enhanced pullback capacity, extreme maneuverability, Double Rotary Head, designed specifically for Geothermal overburden drilling and our unique Casing and Rod Handling System.

Some important features include:

1. Rotary Drive:
   Double head EURODRILL models DH1400 or DH1900; Integrated dual-head designed specifically for Geothermal overburden drilling, where both, Casing and Drilling Rod operate at the same time. The Counter-clockwise operation of the Casing and Drilling Rod Gears significantly increases drilling efficiency and precision, preventing an inadvertent release of rod and casing during the pipe feeding and discharging.


2. Robot arm, equipped with double clamps to simultaneously deliver the casing and the inner rod assembly to and from the rod feeder (feeding and discharging). This reduces the operating time, greatly increasing the efficiency and decreasing cost.


3. Our unique hydraulic Dual Pipe Rack is capable of vertically storing 10ft long pipes. The primary Pipe Rack stores casing and inner rod assemblies (up to 150 ft) and the secondary Pipe Rack stores additional inner rods (up to 400 ft). Both pipe racks are attached to a hydraulic actuator, which allows the racks to be raised for drilling and lowered for transportation.

The GENIUS series GG648-DD Geothermal drilling rig is a rugged machine, featuring an “open concept” superstructure and relying on the robust HYDRAULIC controls, making it a less expensive unit.

The MAX series GM840-DD is a state-of-the-art geothermal drilling rig, has higher power characteristics, depth capabilities and features a high-tech electronic control system with advanced operational power management subsystems, allowing for higher operational efficiency and reduced drilling cost.
