«Easy-Drill» Geotechnical Rig model ED617

Powerful yet reliable, the EASY-DRILL model ED617 is a versatile geotechnical drill rig that can be used for all drilling techniques, such as rotary drilling, down-the-hole drilling, coring, auger drilling etc. Thanks to the multi-speed hollow spindle rotary drive, this rig can also sample using the reverse circulation drilling technique. The RC Air swivel Floating spindle (including saving sub and inner tube) is standard for this trully multipurpose drilling rig. No major time losses when switching from one drilling technique to another:

Down-The-Hole to Reverse Circulation and vice versa – immediately, thanks to the 3 way valve;
DTH/RC to Auger/Rotary and vice versa – 10 min;
DTH/RC/Auger/Rotary to Coring and vice versa – about 2 hours.

This drilling rig can be mounted on tracks, road trailers or four-wheel-drive vehicles to facilitate access to limited areas. The ED617 can be radio controlled to facilitate handling. It's robust design is very easy to maintain and it is well adapted to adverse climates and difficult drilling conditions.
